Eliminating Credit Card fees on taxes and tips:
Bill S.205, Bill H.1259 and Bill S.688 An Act relative to price-fixing prohibition and consumer transparency which would allow a business to add a convenience fee to purchases to cover the cost of processing payment by credit card.
Allowing for credit card convenience fees:
Bill S.204, Bill S.194, Bill H.447, Bill H.375, and Bill H.319 An Act relative to transparency in credit card fees, which would end the practice of credit card companies charging fees on the tax and tip portion of a transaction.
Municipal Business Licenses:
Bill H.2311 and Bill S.1470, An Act Creating a Commission on streamlining municipal licenses for all businesses, which would create a Commission on streamlining municipal licenses for all businesses as navigating the many licenses required to open a business at the municipal level has never been formally reviewed.
Advanced Sales tax Payment:
Bill S.1992 and Bill S.1993, An Act Relative to Advanced Sales Tax Payments and An Act Relative to Advanced Sales Tax Payments Penalties, which would repeal and allow for the waiver of certain penalties respectively of the advanced sales tax payment provision law which is required of businesses who have more than $150,000 in total liability for certain tax types from the previous year.
